The Fair's Guest of Honour Country Has Been Announced

The guest of honour country of this year's International Istanbul Book Fair has been announced. The program aims to strengthen the literary exchange between the two countries.

Program highlights

The program consists of translation workshops, publisher meetings, exhibitions and author talks. Authors from the guest country will meet readers in different halls throughout the fair.

Translation and publishing rights

Publisher meetings will open the way for copyright and translation partnerships between publishing houses from both countries. Applications for workshops aimed at young translators will be collected before the fair.

Exhibition area

The exhibition area dedicated to the guest country will share its publishing history, leading authors and examples of book design with visitors.
