This nine-day cultural journey offers publishers the opportunity to introduce their books to wide audiences and build strong brand visibility. Open to both local and international visitors again this year, the International Hall brings together publishers, agencies and cultural institutions from different countries, forming the industry's global meeting point. Open for the first four days of the fair, 12–15 December, the hall gives publishers the opportunity to present their publishing markets, build partnerships and hold rights negotiations. Having hosted 28 international events last year, the hall is preparing to offer visitors a diverse international programme once again this year.
Bringing together thousands of book lovers with dozens of publishers, authors, poets and academics every year, the fair will once again introduce visitors to the many faces of literature. The 'Illustrators Wall', located within the fairground and attracting great interest in recent years, opens its doors to the world of illustration once more. Offering an inspiring space especially for students interested in the visual arts, young artists, illustration enthusiasts and publishers, this special section presents illustrators' work to exhibitors and visitors throughout the fair.
